alex is a trader by nature and has a passion for buying and selling. originally from london, his career in both retail and wholesale has taken him all over the world during his 30+ years in the business. after building his own successful retail business in the uk during the late 80's, specialising in christmas products, alex moved to australia in 1999.

in 2000 alex opened his first australian venture: a franchised store called howards storage world in warringah mall on sydney's northern beaches and enjoyed immediate success. soon after, he became a major shareholder and partner in the whole franchised business and was instrumental in the company's expansion and success both in australia and internationally. alex sold his interest in hsw in 2010.

stanley j pty ltd is a privately owned company importing gifts, homewares and toys.

webuyclearance.com.au is another division of stanley j pty ltd and buys unwanted stock from importers and wholesalers both in australia and overseas. All product sold by webuyclearance.com.au is done so, discreetly and understanding the need to protect its suppliers brand integrity at all times.

alex also works with retail "start ups" and small/medium size retailers in an advisory capacity.
